    Cookie Policy

    Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the scalor.me website uses, what they are for and how you can manage your choices. It complies with the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive (Portuguese Law no. 41/2004) and the guidance of the CNPD.

    1. What are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information about your visit: preferences, active session, or usage statistics. We also use similar technologies (local storage, pixels).

    2. Which cookies we use

Strictly necessary — essential for the site to work. No consent required:

scalor_consent · Scalor (local storage) · stores your choice in this banner, with date and policy version · until you clear the site data.

i18nextLng · Scalor (local storage) · remembers the language you chose · until you clear the site data.

scalor:convence-banner-dismissed · Scalor (session storage) · remembers that you closed the contact bar · until you close the browser.

lead_sid_contacto, lead_sid_diagnostico · Scalor (session storage) · temporary identifier linking the steps of a form or of the assessment within one visit · until you close the browser.

Analytics — only with your consent. They measure, in aggregate, how the site is used:

_ga · Google (Google Analytics 4) · distinguishes visitors to count visits and page views · up to 2 years.

_ga_CTK8XH1MYM · Google (Google Analytics 4) · keeps the browsing session state · up to 2 years.

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

    3. Third-Party Cookies

Analytics cookies are set by Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager). Google processes this data under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not use chat platforms or other third-party services that set cookies.

    4. Managing your choices

On your first visit, the banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics cookies with the same click, or Customise by category. Until you choose, only necessary cookies run — browsing, scrolling or closing the banner does not count as consent. Your choice is stored with the date and version of this policy; when the policy changes, we ask again.

You can change your mind at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer of every page. Rejecting after having accepted deletes this site’s _ga cookies.

You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling necessary cookies may prevent the website from working properly.

    5. Retention Period

Necessary: until you clear the site data (local storage) or close the browser (session storage).

Analytics (_ga, _ga_CTK8XH1MYM): up to 2 years from your last visit.
